Propose merging Category:Maritime incidents of 1831 to Category:Maritime incidents in 1831
Nominator's rationale: Merge. Redundant to the existing category, which follows the naming conventions for these categories, as seen in Category:19th-century maritime incidents for example . Benea (talk) 11:54, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Delete The category is now basically empty. 10 minutes ago, it contained the album articles (sent to Category:The Hippos albums) and the album cover files (sent to Category:The Hippos album covers). No need for an eponymous category in this instance. Pichpich (talk) 00:24, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep As a parent category for the two categories you've just mentioned. Lugnuts (talk) 07:04, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note that there is ample precedent against eponymous band categories that contain only the albums and songs subcategories. This should be no different, especially considering the fact that the album covers category should really be considered as a maintenance category and not as a content category. (This is the case for pretty much all categories of non-free images and it explains the _NOGALLERY_). Pichpich (talk) 11:03, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete – I would myself put the covers as a subcat of the albums (although at least one rather pedantic editor disagrees). Anyway the material on this band is rather sparse, and there is indeed 'ample precedent against eponymous band categories' with 1 or 2 subcats. Occuli (talk) 14:33, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, unless there is anything else to put in this category. I too would have the album covers category as a subcategory of the albums category, which would leave us with a main article and an albums category—probably not enough for an eponymous category.
